Our social media tips for logistics solutions companies like ours
- Publish Your Own Blogs.
Our goal is to write meaningful blogs that can help Distributors, Manufacturers, Entrepreneurs and Supply Chain Professionals in their daily lives. You can find these in our blog. - Select The Platforms That Make Sense for Your Service or Product
We know we are not going to be good at every platform in social media, no matter how good the tools are to manage those, so we focus on Twitter and Linked In. We recently started a group for Supply Chain Professionals – called The New Idea Group.
This group is all about sharing ideas. Shipping and Supply chain professionals face new challenges every day; and this group is a place to workshop those problems and come up with solutions and have community. We only post about 1. ideas that fix a broken situation in our profession or 2. A situation we want help or experienced input on. Between our collected ability and experiences, there’s nothing we can’t get done!
- Make An Effort, Be Personable and Use Your Time on Social Media Wisely
For us it’s a concerted effort, it is challenging to keep up with social media because it’s not our primary job. However we do take it very seriously. We split the efforts between a few team members, try always to jump in and communicate with other followers and equally work with tools to constantly schedule tweets along with jumping into human being Twitter conversations. That’s the actual part I love most!
